Sail & Ski is proud to be hosting Boat Texas safety certification courses!

Boat Texas is the official boating safety course of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Taking this safe boating course will allow you to get your Texas boating license. When you pass, you will receive your permanent boater education certification card by mail from Texas Parks and Wildlife.

By law, you must be at least 13 years old to receive your Texas boater education certificate. Children twelve years of age may take the Certification Exam, but they will not be mailed their boater education certificate until their 13th birthday.

Passing the Texas boating safety course may make you eligible for a discount on your boat or PWC insurance. Send a copy of your boater safety certificate to your agent and start saving!

Cost is $30 for class registration, and includes the certification exam as well as refreshments at each of our Boating Safety Certification Courses.
